The first bout between Carl Froch and George Groves ended controversially when the referee stopped the fight by ruling a technical knock-out in favour of Froch. So the build up for the re-match 6 months later was full of animosity and name calling. Groves entered the arena in spectacular style and began the bought well and the advantage moved back and forth between the two. But by the 8th Froch was on top and right hook to the jaw sent Groves to the floor, knocked clean out. There was no controversy this time. Froch raised his arms in victory, the business was finished.
