Cloughie's instructions were to "give it to the fat bloke on the wing" and over a 4 year period that's just what the Forest team did. They passed to John Robertson who, during those 4 years, played 243 consecutive matches for the Reds. That's 60 a season on muddy pitches against rugged defenders trying to stop him at all costs. Unbelievable!! And what he did with the ball on those mazy, twisting runs and sublime passes earned him the accolade of Forest's All Time Greatest Player. Here he is beating 2 Malmo defenders and putting over the most famous cross in Forest history. Robbo, we salute you.
