Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team at Art of Football. The ideal candidate will have a passion for football and a strong creative vision, coupled with experience in screenprinting and illustration. This individual will play a key role in developing and executing design concepts for our range of football-themed apparel, including t-shirts, hoodies, and other garments.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the design team to conceptualise and develop new clothing designs that capture the essence of football culture.
  2. Create original illustrations and artwork for use in apparel designs, incorporating elements such as football players, stadiums, and iconic moments from the sport.
  3. Utilise screenprinting techniques to translate design concepts onto various garments, ensuring high-quality and visually striking results.
  4. Work closely with production partners to oversee the printing process and ensure that designs are executed accurately and to the highest standards.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in football culture, drawing inspiration from current events, players, and teams.
  6. Contribute to the overall creative direction of the brand, offering insights and ideas for new design concepts and product offerings.
  7. Assist with other design-related tasks and projects as needed, including but not limited to website graphics, social media content, and marketing materials.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing original artwork and design concepts.
  3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
  4. Demonstrated experience with screen printing techniques and processes.
  5. Passion for football and a deep understanding of football culture and aesthetics.
  6. Strong creative vision and the ability to generate innovative design ideas.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
